Joe Duffy, overpaid Dublin scumbag from the slums
Joe Duffy is officially the biggest fucking muppet in Ireland. No wait, some guy called Anthony is the biggest muppet in Ireland.
Anthony is one of those idiot dry bastards with no sense of humour. And when Anthony sees something that offends him he gets mad. And when Anthony sees something about his beloved home of Limerick he gets very, very mad. So mad in fact, he rings up that overpaid scumbag Joe Duffy to complain about it.
It was the best show of Liveline ever because it really hit home just how much of a fuckcunt Joe Duffy really is. The man is everything that’s wrong in Ireland. He’ll ramble on and on about deprived members of the community and allow some miserable old fart like Anthony complain about some video that contains lyrics about drugs.
But when it transpires his overpaid buddy in RTE was a coke head, Joe says sweet fuck all about it.
Then came Blindboy, half of the comedy duo The Rubberbandits. Joe began his condescending bullshit by asking him if he can speak properly after Blindboy presented his first comment in a thick Limerick accent.
Blindboy then destroyed Anthony by giving him a lesson in irony and pointing out the subtext of the video.

Genius. Fucking genius. Anthony didn’t even get the joke comment. The guy is so fucking narrow minded in his thoughts that he didn’t realise he was being publicly humiliated by a guy with infinitely more intelligence.

And then there was Willie. Willie O’Dea is a gobshite, pure and simple. A corrupt slandering liar who should be taken off to Thomand Park and hung by the rafters. But this time he was on the money, well, almost. Apart from not recognising some nobody from his own party he did ok out of it. He was giving the Rubberbandits his full support and said people should get a sense of humour. For once I agree with the sneaky bastard.
It was obvious towards the end that Joe realised what was happening. Blindboy and the Bandits had gotten enormous publicity from the show. What’s more, Joe also knew from Twitter that the vast majority of people were siding with Blindboy. Of course Joe being the biased prick that he is, set his stall out at the start to try and denigrate The Bandits and take some sort of faux moral high ground. Prick.
The hypocritical asshole even mentioned the C word a few times, no, not that C word, I’m talking about cocaine. The words Gerry and Ryan weren’t mentioned though. How convenient.
It couldn’t have gone any better for Blindboy. Half the country were privileged to hear the guy give his articulate and well formed views on the matter. You see, comedy is based first and foremost on intelligence. Blindboy has intelligence in spades.
It went so well that you’d have to wonder if Anthony is actually the PR man for the Rubber Bandits. The guy played the role of the disgruntled narrow minded dry bastard to perfection.
What we know now is we have a straight fight for the Christmas Number 1 between Matt Cardle of the X-Factor and Blindboy from the Rubberbandits. I don’t know who will win out, all I know is that they’re both going to be up to their necks in pussy.
