Oops Eamon Ryan has done it again

Eamon Ryan, the Minister for Communications and Energy has once again proven himself to be a complete and utter retard. His latest idiotic idea is to impose a 5% levy on electricity. Every household in Ireland and every business now face a hike in costs at a time when the country is still on its knees from the recession. The cost of everything is falling but Ryan feels a need to screw every man woman and child in Ireland. What an absolute wanker.

The reason given for the increase is to help offset the cost of energy suppliers who are required by a retarded law to source some of their raw material from renewable sources. What this basically means is that they have to pay these renewable assholes more money for an inefficient source of energy which would be a lot cheaper to buy from oil and gas companies.

So what this all boils down to is that every electricity customer in Ireland has to pay a levy on the government’s idiotic policy of forcing energy suppliers to use an inefficient form of energy which is already artificially driving up energy costs.

A tale of two gobshites

I remember listening to Matt Cooper interviewing Batt O’Keefe about job creation a few months ago. Just before Batt finished his usual waffle he said the government were looking at ways to reduce energy costs for business. Matt wasn’t at the races and let him off on this comment. This wasn’t long after the last budget where the government in their infinite wisdom decided to drive the cost of everything up by introducing a carbon tax. Terrible journalism at its worst. Batt talks shit about reducing energy costs and Ryan comes along as Al Gore’s little drummer boy and tries to save the fucking planet by raiding your wallet.

Ryan is a naïve idealistic eejit and he needs to be stopped before every business in Ireland closes down because they can’t afford to turn the fucking lights on. Eamon, you’re an asshole and a wanker and you haven’t a clue what you’re doing.

Eamon gives it to you straight
